Rear Seat Bottom Not Flush

Hi everyone,

 

Hope all is well.

 

Anyone know what’s going on with my rear seat bottom?

 

See how the bottom isn’t flush straight across the bench?

 

Tried opening / folding the seats, made sure nothing’s blocking them, but nothing is and they ‘lock’ / ‘latch’ into position.

 

Anyone have this problem before?

Guess I got lucky. Just checked my new 2019 Z71 crew cab with the cloth/leather seats and the back seats are perfectly even all the way across.

Fit and finish issue, will need a partial seat replacement to do it right. But most BS dealers will either say "It's NORMAL", or they'll shim it up with washers.

 

I wish you good luck, don't let the dealer get away with any crap.

 

But definitely take it back to dealer and get the issue documented right away! Just in case you have to take it to arbitration or litigation.
