Drop in K&N

Hey All!

I just posted this in misc/aftermarket as well but I need some info pretty quick because I'm planning to head out for lunch and grab a filter.

I'm about to drop in a K&N - Do I need to disconnect the battery in order to reset the PCM? I've heard different opinions on this. The truck only has 400 miles on it right now so I don't even know if the computer has fully set up anyway.

Thanks!

I don't think it is necessary b/c the computer will "learn" the increase in airflow after a little time. If you want to speed up the "learning" process then it wouldn't hurt to disconnect the batt for about 10 min while you install the new filter. :)
