alternator amp question

im looking to replace the alternator on my 95 1500 5.0 4x4 as battery light came on. they list 3 or 4 different amp specs at orielly. how can I tell witch alternator I have?. the sticker has faded that was on my alternator

The amperage may be stamped or engraved on the body of the alternator, especially if it's the factory original. The case size diameter can also help in figuring out size. I know Rockauto lists diameter sizes

There should be a sticker with RPO codes in your glovebox, and there probably is a code in there for which amp alternator your truck was built with (my truck does).
