Need some advice about grandpa's truck

Hello guys I need some advice on a engine swap.

My grandfather owns a 1999 Cheyenne 2500

Witch basically is a Mexican silverado.

The cheyenne came with a 5.7 tdfi engine and a 4l60 transmission.

I would like to swap a the 5.7l with a 5.3 vortec

The vehicle donor is a 2001 yukon xl, I would like to know if it is posible to do it?

"Is it possible" is kinda a relative question, people are putting LS motors in absolutely every kind of car/truck you can imagine, so yes it's possible. It's a whole lot easier/cheaper if you have the complete donor vehicle, you're going to need all the wiring harnesses and plumbing and ecm ect.
