2019 Silverado 2WD 3500 Miles First Tow and Updates

I have 3500 miles on the Silverado.  It's a Silver 2019 2WD LTZ.  I towed a 7000 pound trailer 600 miles last weekend.  The engine light came on, and I was just going by a Chevy dealership.  Turns out it was some "communications" related issue.  I felt it was related to the trailer weight or at least caused by it.  After I got to the destination, we unhooked the trailer and after a couple of miles, the engine light went away.  FYI - the auto-start doesn't work if the engine light is on for those that might get the issue.

I'm also at about 50% brakes based on the sensor.

Other than the light (which has not come back on after the return trip) the pull went really well and the truck performed well on Arizona hills.  This is my first truck and I love it.

(I also replaced all the name badges with the black ones from the factory - they look rad on silver).

7000lbs is well with in the towing limit. Well, if you have a v8. Probably unrelated to the tow.  I towed my camper (8500lbs) up the NC mountains last weekend and it had its tongue hanging out but we made it and engine and trans temps were in operating temperatures.

Yeah, some of the steep hills she was grinding a bit, but I bet any truck would do that.  Yes, I have the 8 speed V8.  The engine braking was nice on the downslopes.
