Love my 2020 Denali truck for its towing power and handling, but I hate the driver’s seat. It’s so uncomfortable on my right hip after just 20 or 30 minutes of driving that I need to stop and get out or sit on a towel.

My wife and I recently test drove a 2022 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali with the ultimate package. The seats seemed smaller and much firmer than those in an F350 Platinum we test drove several days before. Unfortunately, this factor above all others cost GMC the sale. We simply won’t pay that much money for an uncomfortable truck.

I traded an F150 Lariat for my AT4.  Seats are more firm, but more comfortable and supportive in my opinion.  My back would hurt on drives over an hour or so in the F150.

The seats are firm, but I find them very comfortable.  Soft seats are really bad for your back and posture.  Maybe make sure you're using the lumbar support?  And if the edge of the seat is cutting off the circulation in your legs then you don't have the seat adjusted properly.

Ditto this. Wife and I just took our first 8hr road trip and the AT4 seats were very comfortable and we were not sore or tired after the trip. Actually much more comfortable than my previous Tahoe and probably comparable to my wife's GLC. I find the key is to get the seat tilt adjusted properly (back and seat) to help distribute your weight better along with adjusting lumbar as needed.
