Quick Question

What is this I hear about an "LS1 Conversion" not sure if thats what it's called exactly.. But if someone could help me out on what it is, and what it does it would be appreciated

Well, an LS1 is a 5.7 litre engine used in the Corvette. Quite a different beast than the 5.7 used in trucks though. Slightly different displacement, all aluminum construction, different fuel injection system, and lots of other different parts. A total engine swap would be quite the task.

 

But, I read something else about LS1 type PCM programming.

You must of read my question wrong, obviously I know what an LS1 is, I own a SS I've just seen people with the mod "Ls1 Conversion" for their Truck

It could be they swapped out their engine for an LS1?

Really, they are not all that different.
