Can't Secure Black Cover/Housing Behind Rearview Mirror

Recommended Posts

Just noticed the other day that the black plastic box/wire housing behind my rearview mirror is loose. I've tried like hell to re-secure it but I'm obviously missing something. Plus my experience with plastic parts plus frustration leads to broken parts ever. Single. Time. So I figured I'd pick ya'll's brain about this. I can't find anything remotely similar to this on YouTube or in the forums. Any tips on how to re-secure the thing?

mine too shaking from the subs under the rear seats :D  won't stay anymore. Finding so many loose trim panels that i have to track down and figure out how to stop the rattles. Me too on hating working with and plastics in these newer trucks does not feel like i should be pulling hard and materials don't help with the confidence either

3M DP420NS epoxy.

It comes in black or clear, maybe gray. I would use the clear.

It doesn't run, it stays where you put it. Only way off is a heat gun.
