2018 Silverado Crew Cab LTZ vs 2018 Sierra Denali Ultimate Package....issues, advantages or disadvantages

Hello all,

Been a long time lurker on these forums and must say you people have put together some absolutely great looking trucks.   I’m hoping to purchase in the near future either a left over 2018 or 2019 1500 Sierra AT4.   I’ve come across some incredible low mileage trucks.  First one is 2018 Sierra Denali ultimate package in Onyx black on black interior.  Only 10,000 kms which is equivalent to 6,000 miles.  Saw it on my way to work today.  Really clean, has 22” wheels and GM soft tri fold tonneau cover.  Don’t know price as it just got traded in yesterday.  Second truck is a 2018 Silverado crew cab Premium with only 8,900 kms around 5:500 miles.  Not sure why dealer calls it premium but, pretty sure it’s an LTZ.  Summit White, black leather bucket seats, heated and cooled, Nav, sunroof, spray on bed-liner, round black nerf steps, tonneau cover (soft)heated steering wheel, park assist,  pretty much loaded except for powered running boards.  The Denali has the 6.2 with 8 speed and the Silverado’s got the 5.3 with 8 speed.  I haven’t seen the Silverado in person but from pics it looks really clean.  All white with matching white bumpers front and rear.   I wanted to ask you folks about the trans issues and this Chevy shake syndrome.  What years were effected?  What was the fix ? Did it cure the problem?   Also,  I know the 6.2 is a killer motor with tons of power but I can honestly say that I really don’t tow anything, not anymore anyways.... no cottage, no boat, or snowmobile anymore so heavy duty trailering isn’t a necessity.  I’ve always loved the grill on the Sierra much more than the Chevy’s but this Silverado is absolutely gorgeous.   Would the fuel economy be very noticeable between the 6.2 and 5.3 .  Both trucks have 22” wheels and I know the Denali has the 3:23 rear gear ratio, not sure about Silverado.   To throw in one last question please....is there any advantage in going with a 2019 Sierra AT4 ?   Luv the look, just worried about first new design and getting all bugs sorted out first ?

Thanks very much for your time and advice gentlemen, it’s truly and greatly appreciated..
