Squeaky Misaligned Serpentine Belt

1500 4.3L v6 Silverado. At first it seemed like the belt tensioner was shot and the alternator bearing was worn so I replaced both, which they were so it wasn’t a complete waste of money. But it still squeaked like hell. I sprayed water on the belt and the noise went away so I’m assuming it’s squeaking from a belt misalignment however I checked all the pullys and they are all flush and lined up with each other so I’m at a loss. Obviously it isn’t a bearing because of the water test right? So unless anyone has any other ideas I’m open to any suggestion I get. As of now I’m looking into an “anti-squeal” belt, like a Goodyear Gatorback or something but I can’t seem to find one that’ll fit the 4.3L. Also correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure there are a two different size belts that fit this engine depending on what kind of alternator I have, so just Incase, the alternator on this Chevy has got the black strip or gap(what ever you want to call it) in the middle. Any ideas?

I would first take the belt off, examine it for how clean it is, any sign of oil on it, and also examine all the pulleys/idlers it goes over, to make sure all the bearings are good and the surfaces are also clean.

Thanks for the response, I did check all pulleys and I forgot to mention the belt was changed just a couple days ago and it actually made the squeaking worse because of the higher tension I’m assuming. Everything seems to point to some sort of misalignment however I still can’t figure out what’s causing it

On my 99 GMC 4.3 I turned the belt around 180 degrees and it stopped the squeak for me.  Not inside out but to kinda run it backwards.
