Duramax 3.0 and Payload

Towing rating now has to do with many other numbers such as cooling on a long climb, accelerating on level ground/12% grade, sway, braking, etc...  

Also in from a source: the demo 2019 Silverado RST double cab 2WD (as seen in Mr Truck's video and other you tubers in the MPG challenge) was an RST with Allstar pack and floor mats with curb of 5090.  The closest in the wild RST DC 2WD I have a payload stick on is the same, but also has bed protection and convenience II packages. It had a curb of 4935.  So between the difference in weight and options it looks like +300lbs for the diesel from the 5.3.  I only have loaded Z51 5.3 LTZ stickers, and that puts them at 1550 payload with the diesel.
