Jr.'s Stream Came to an End

Dale Jr. didn't win the 2003 EA Sports 500, but he did finish 2nd to Michael Waltrip.

Here is a complete list of where everyone finished.

Yeah it was pretty cool for me to see my favorites all up there at the end (Jr., Rusty, Newman, and Waltrip). Bad things is when Newman went a lpa down and Jr. already was a lap down I decided it would be a good time to finish up some homework. I turned it back on and they were under a red flag and Jr was insecond, with Newman in fourth. But like Jr. said in his post race interview, he didn't reallt earn it he just benefited from the rule by getting his lap back. But so far that rule has help my favorite drivers two weeks in a row, so I can't complain too much.

I was hoping Eliott Sadler would win, but he ended up going for a ride in the air.

 

 

 

 

But Waltrip won, since he's another one of my faves, Ill be happy with that.

Pretty good race, good to see the high line actually working towards the front of the field. I'm just wondering how the race would have been different without the luckdogrule.

You mean from the back to the front. Couldn't agree with you more. When is he does it, it reminds me of someone else.....you can guess who.
