2019 Chevrolet Silverado Service side detection system

 I have 2019 Chevrolet Silverado I just had Ceramic Gold Package Paint Protection https://ceramicpro.com/products/ applied and I noticed popup on "Service side detection system" and my license plant lights are not working or my blind spot detection and  the blinkers on the mirrors don't light up,  I did clean the sensors with microfiber it did not help Onstar On-Demand Diagnostic B3883 Your vehicle license plate lamp requires service any help would be appreciated

Did they take your rear bumper off to do this??? Doubt it, but the sensors for the blind spot monitoring are in the bumper steps, and then obviously the plate lights are on the bumper as well, so it would seem like a connection has failed going to the bumper. Either way I wouldn’t spend any time trying to self-diagnose. Warranties are a beautiful thing. Good luck.

thanks for the help they found  the problem they  disconnect wire in the bumper it's working now

I have the same thing happening on my 2020 AT4. I brought it in to the dealership today and they recalibrated the sensors via an update and said it will take 4-6 hours of drive time to start working again. Strange thing is that when I was test driving it, I noticed a rapid flash when a car would go by.I didn’t think it was an issue.  I bought the truck and left the dealership and shortly after I stopped to get food. When I restarted the truck the error came on “Side detection temporarily unavailable” it hasn’t worked since and still isn’t working after the recalibration. I’m not going to hold my breath but will update if it starts working.

I'm having the same issue however only my passenger side mirror blind spot light stays on even with the truck off.. I recently installed the ADD stealth fighter bumber that was falsely advertised to work with the blind spot modules. I call ADD to find a fix and they said it simply doesn't work so they stopped welding the brackets for them in their bumpers and "that not having it is a sacrifice of switching to the offroad scene" which is complete BS. Long story short I ran the truck without the sensors and got the same service message. I plugged the modules back in and am still having the same issue and I think that light that stays on is drawing a current and slowly killing the battery.

Anthony did you ever figure out a solution for this?  Just ordered that bumper....

Also wondering if you have figured out this issue. I just installed the same bumper (ADD part #R441041280103) and am having the same problem. I called ADD, and they told me to call the company I bought it from. I called the company I bought it from and they told me to call ADD...infuriating!
