Recieved my MX4 today so I figured I'd go ahead and get it installed. Overall installation went well. Took a little adjusting to get the tailgate to work right. Only questionable part I have is on the water drain. I didnt like running them fwd into the space between the bed and cab so I routed it into the fwd bed pocket. I assume that can drain ok but I could not really tell from looking up under the truck.

You should have no water drain problem unless there is an ice buildup during winter months.

@sdlam, That's exactly how I did mine also. I put my cover on Tuesday and then sprayed down with the hose for several minutes. Seems to be good. Had a few drips at the front corners and back corners, but that's pretty minimal. I've found over the years with different covers that the angle of the truck and direction of rain has a large impact on if you get any intrusion or not. Travelling down the highway is usually none.

I played with it the other day and sprayed a small stream of water into the rails at the tailgate end of the track. the passenger side did great, all water drained out between the inner and outer bed. the drivers side drained into the area above the fuel/DEF fill and seeped through the seam where it meets the truck bed. I'm not real concerned with it though becuase i can't forsee much water getting in the rails themselves anyway.
