My list would look alot like yours colosilverado. Any COPO, Yenko or Baldwin Motion "vehicle" would be cool!!!

I've always liked the looks of the RS/SS convertibles.

An old "Hemi" would be sweet...

Pretty much anything from about '65 to '74.

my dad had a 5.0 stang a few years bak and i drove it a lot, my cousin had a cuda, and my other cousin had a 350 monte carlo (i guess that count)

1967 Corvette w/427. Had one bought and the guy went out, got drunk, and totalled it that nite. His wife left him and he went and got drunk before I got the money to him. I hate her. I hear there was fiberglass everywhere. Was in 1974 or 1975. Then came kids and no sports cars for me.

If I was going for something that wasn't necessarily GM, I would like one of the Hemi Cudas, that's for sure. The Mustang GT350's are cool. if I am thinking of the right thing. Do they have a fastback? I was thinking they usually say GT350 down along the rocker panels.

I think the Vettes are cool, too. Mostly any from the late 50's to the late 60's.

I missed out on a '68 Firebird 400/TH400 that really killed me back several years ago. Black on black, deluxe interior, and less than 100k original miles and in almost perfect shape. It was sitting on a corner between two towns and I (wife was driving) was passing by after just getting my wisdom teeth pulled. I told her to stop and she whipped over so I could look at it. The guy who was selling it came out and I asked him what questions I could, while trying not to drip blood all over his car. :0

He told me that it had been his fathers that had passed a few years before and that it was his pride and joy. He told me that a kid and his mom had come by the day before and put down some money on it, and that if they didn't take it, I could have it. Well, I called back and the kid had taken it. The guy was worried because the kid was so young ( not that it really matters), and that he'd feel bad if the kid piled it up some day. He knew that I'd take care of the car, and love it like his dad did, but he had given his word to the kid. I understood and couldn't blame him, so I went on. I stopped by one day, maybe a year later to ask the guy if he had the kid's number so I could buy it if he was tired of it, but he had indeed totalled it.

Anyway, I have always felt bad about not getting that car for some reason, and I drive by that corner every day on the way to work, and catch myself looking to see if it is back. :stupid:

I don't know why it bothers me so much, but it does.

There was also a '70 Chevelle SS454 ( not sure if it was an LS5, or LS6) that was owned by some older folks in our neighborhood. I asked them if they wanted to sell it because it sat outside while their newer vehicles sat in the garage. That killed me because the car was in great shape and was kind of rare, even if it wasn't an LS6. It had a bench seat and a column shift. I gave the guy my number, but I haven't heard from him again.

This would probably kill Shaners as much as it did me. One of my buddies that I have had since highschool was originally from Iowa, and he had a friend from Iowa that had moved out here for a few years, and later moved back to Iowa. Well, while he was here, I noticed that he had a nice '67 Camaro with white stripes and a black interior. Anyway, I always liked the car, and I mentioned it to my buddy and different Iowa buddy of his that was visiting at the time and friends of this guy who had moved back to Iowa. This other buddy mentioned to me that the guy was trying to sell the car and wanted $4500 or so for it. I asked him what it had for a motor, and he told me it was a 302. That caught my attention. I asked him if it was original and he said yes, that it had been his dad's before the kid owned it and the dad had bought it new. I asked if the car was still in the great condition that it had been when I saw it, and he said that it was still almost perfect, no rust, maybe a few small dings on the inside and outside, but nothing much. I told him to tell him I would pay him cash, and not to let him sell it. Well, I had my buddy call him to tell him I wanted it and he had JUST sold it the night before while cruising. Some dude had offered him $6700 and he did the deal right on the spot. I missed a '67 Z28 by just a little bit, and for cheap!

someone near my parents house has a skylark (i don't know the year, but it looks like a late 60s, eary 70s car). it is a skylark custom that looks very original (and is obviously unrestored).

I don't have all that many I really want, just some that my Dad owned at one point in time. And a few others that we both really like. Might think of a few more later, but these are the ones I want most.
