Power Outlet Switch Staying On?

Just Curious,

 

For those who have the power outlet switch under the HVAC controls. Does it continuously stay on with the dim green light when the ignition is off or on? Ive attached a picture for reference. I feel like it just started doing this today. When I press the button it lights up green to indicate on, when i press it again it blinks then goes to dim green. Hopefully someone can let me know if its normal. Thanks

It does it in my truck as well, I think its so you can see where it is even when the interior lights are dimmed all the way down, my "start/stop" button stays lit dimly even when turned off and lights dimmed all the way. if you press it it will be a brighter green when turned on.
