Sooo many issues

I had to yank the cams out of my F150 to do a full timing rebuild at only 150k miles. All because of blown rubber tensioner seals. Ecoboost engines suffer the same fate, only at earlier miles. 5.0 engines eat a quart of oil every thousand miles. Dodge’s may have lifter ticks and failures. Nissans have rear diff issues. I think Toyotas may suffer timing related issues. Spend time on their respective forums and I’m positive you’ll see loads of complaints.

Im nearing 80k miles in my ‘16, and the truck has zero, I’m talking ZERO, issues. And I’m as anal as they come...my ‘14 Ram had a vibration that irked the heck out of me that no one at the dealer could notice until F-C, nor could their picometer, sent a specialist to check it out. They bought it back as a result. The major issue for the OP seems to be the 8 speed, which is disappointing; GM used to OWN the auto trans market as far as reliability, durability and livability, but now not so much.
