303 protectant

Who recommends using the 303 protectant on their dash instead of armor all? I just dont want the glare that armor all gives you.

I use 303 on my boat. Never noticed if it did anything for glare. I quit using Armorall due to its long range effect on rubber and vinyl. 303 is high $. You may try another product that doesn't leave a shiny finish. I don't remember the name fo the stuff I use. I'll check it tomorrow and post.

I never used 303 but I have always had good luck with formula 2001 it leaves a shine, but its more like a wet look, then a high buffed finish.

I really like 303. It is pricey, and as for glare. I never really paid much attention to that. You can tell it is applied to the dash but, I'm not sure if it really glares or not. I got it online for a good price, I think a 16oz bottle cost me $10.95 from this site, Nealsharbor

Black Magic semi-gloss for dash boards is what I use. It says semi-gloss but after a few minutes I can't tell it is on there at all. I have to use something like that because the dash on late model F bodys are terrible when it comes to glare. I just looked at the dash on my boat where I used 303 and it is pretty glossy. Hope this helps.

303 is great stuff. But for my Dash I just use Windex. Its a plastic dash so its not like its going to crack. And I doubt I'll have my truck long enough to notice it fade.

303 is all I use. 303 contains no silicone oils, which doesn't leave a greasy feeling. And depending on who you ask regarding this topic, silicone oils are a no no for tires/rubber. When I got my tonneau cover they said that they recommend 303 and only 303. 303 gives a matte finish, not a glossy one. About the only thing I don't like about it is the price, but I don't need to re-apply it every time like on my tonneau cover when I wash it. So, I guess it evens out. I use 303 on my tires, vinyl, and leather. Go to 303products.com and check out their website.

303 here too. Awesome stuff. Cheaper if you buy a gallon. I seem to go through quite a bit when I'm detailing. I like the look of 303 on the tires too. Not that shiny black look. Also like the UV protection as it keeps the rubber from drying out and cracking. I use it on any exterior black plastic or rubber and inside on everything but the carpet and leather seats.

I use 303 on most surfaces on my vehicles (does wonders on the tonneau!) but on the dash boards I use Meguiar's Natural Shine.

Haven't heard anything bad about it, haven't experienced anything either. Not near as pricey as 303 and much easier to get. Unsure of any UV protection offered. The shine it gives is simular to the way it looked when new.

Just my .02. Hope it helps!

I've had great results with the Natural Shine or Meguiars Trim Detailer as well.
