I put one in my 2000 GMC 2500, and it works, but that is about what can be said for it. I even replaced it thinking that the CB had to be bad, the new one is better, but still not good. I took it to a truck CB shop, and they said it was working, so it is either a poor receiver, or the antenna is no good. I use it for talking between vehicles when a buddy and I go on hunting/fishing trips, and the reception is the issue, the radio seems to cut off all the reception to stop noise. I have bought a new antenna, but have not installed it to check. I bought a yard sale regular size cobra for my older Chevy truck and it was a lot better receiver, hard to give up that compact little all in hand radio though!

I have it and mine seems to work fine. I get a couple of miles reception, which is all I am really asking for. I got it because I wanted a CB for caravaning, and 4 wheeling, and the those occasional long road trips. BUt I didn't want to clutter my dash with something that I don't use all the time. I guess I would say go for it, for occasional use....but don't if it's something you are gonna have to rely on, or somehting you are going to use everyday.

I own one, and it's also a really popular CB. The build quality is good, and the reception will depend almost entirely on your antenna, so if that's important, make sure to get a good one and tune it.

Radio Pros:

Small all-in-one design

Can be used with multiple mounting boxes, so you can use a single Cobra 75 WXST in multiple vehicles easily

Good feature set - Channel Scan, Backlit Display, Weather, etc

Radio Cons:

Speaker can be a little underpowered, especially with off-road engine noise. Might want to use external speaker with it.

More expensive than many CBs
