XM Radio works but AM/FM Stations DO NOT

I have a 2009 Chevy 1500 with XM Radio. When I turn on the AM/FM radio the screen comes up but there is absolutely no sound. When I turn it to XM it works perfect. I know when you dont have an antenna it will come in static but it doesnt even do that. What could be wrong? I have checked the antenna wire and everything seems to to the way it should be.

Just replaced the antenna lead on my 04 (and kenwood hu). During the installation, tested the radio a few times - No static when antenna was disconnected.
