Infotainment screen unresponsive

My wife and I have had our 2019 Custom Silverado since August and about 6 or 7 times now the touchscreen infotainment center will be completely unresponsive, and by that i mean the touchscreen physically doesn't work. Yes we can still hear the radio, yes the screen is still on, we just cant press on anything. So we have to shut the truck off, literally wait about 10 minutes and then turn it back on before it works again.

 

Currently the truck is in at the dealership being looked at and now they are gonna be calling in some GM electronics specialty guys to take a look at it while everything is under warranty.

 

In the mean time, has anyone else had this issue with their trucks?

I hope that they can replicate it and fix it for you.  Mine was doing great for 4 months and last week I got the reverse camera blue screen.  I thought that was fixed in a software update a long time ago.  Good luck.

Well they couldn't find an issue with it (the dealership) and no surprise there. I figured they need to do there usual diagnostic stuff first. But now they are bringing in GM's third party electronics guys to take a look at it and hopefully get somewhere with it. It's so random that i doubt it will screw up on them.

My 2015 HD had the screen lock up 2 time in 4 years that I had it.  Even stranger, all of the instruments cluster went dead too but the truck kept running and the music kept playing.  Both times almost at the same spot on the same freeway.  No codes stored so the dealer could not help me.  I think the dealers get as frustrated as us owners when they can't figure it out.
