I have a 2017 Sierra and after hooking up a trailer the service stability trac came on Dic.  The ABS light cam on once in awhile and now is permanently on.

I had it at the dealer and changed out a rear speed sensor, but no fix to my problem.

Has anyone had this isssue and do you know to fix it.  GMC mechanics are blaming a mouse or squirrel eating the wires and want to do a complete review of alll wiring $$$$$$

So they just say something is eating the wires. Did they say anything about sensors being bad, or voltages not correct or anything. The right scan tool can give so much information about what is going on with the ABS system. Sometimes it makes me think that draw out of a hat on what to check.

Had it scanned and they came up with a speed sensor on the rear driver side.  Replace that, but didn’t help the problem.  It sucks caus I have a new truck with no traction control or abs.  Almost slide into someone today.  Can’t wait for th snow

Get it to another dealer or competent mechanic. It is actually one of the easiest issues to trouble shoot with the right equipment, which they have.
