04 Silverado NO REVERSE LIGHT PROBLEM

I thought my reverse light bulbs might’ve just been the problem so I replaced the bulbs and that wasn’t my issue. I checked my reverse light fuse which was bad but it will blow every time I change it. Maybe a bad switch? Any body know what might cause that?

The bcm turns on the lights using a signal from the tcm (or possibly through the ecm), so it's not like the old school setup of a switch on the steering column or the transmission that directly turns on the lights.

 

Most likely, there's a short in the wiring between the bcm and the lights in the back.
