2019 Silverado 1500 LD LT need keys

Ok so I just bought my truck and they only gave me 1 key and 1 remote. If I buy a key from someone online and have them cut it from a picture I send them. Can i program it myself using the turn key method?

I couldn't self program on my 2014 LT.  I suspect the 2019 LD's are the same.

wrong forum, but you need the dealer to program it. if you just bought the truck, talk to the dealer. They always give 2 sets

Sorry i couldnt find the exact place to post. I know I can order the dorman 99355 kit and program them myself just didnt know if there was a trick i couldnt find online. I bought my truck used from a chevy dealer. They said they were only obligated to provide one set.
