I finally strapped the Suburban down to a dyno today and was rewarded with 407.2hp and 557.8 ft-lb torque. I think I might be able to find a littlle more horsepower with some more tuning. My goal was 400 rear wheel so I'm happy with today's numbers. The truck will be going to the track next week. The ET goal is low 14s but a 13.99 would be perfect!

He meant 6 or 8 pound setup on the S/C.

Nice numbers Tom. You know you're NOT making this ANY easier on me. I want to S/C mine sooooo badly, but I have a new toy coming I have to think about.

The kit makes 7.5# of boost. I have a smaller pulley that will get me into the 8.5# range but I'm happy with the way the truck performs with this one. Plus I don't want to blow it up

CMNTMXR81: I think you'll let your new toy. You'll be able to upgrade it at www.ls1gtoperformance.com soon :)

that is veeeerrry sweet. I'm saving up for a supercharger install this summer, I still havn't made up my mind yet for the Kenne Bell or the Whipple. But I have atleast another 9 months to a year to get all the info I can. I've heard good and bad things about the whipple, but the KB is fairly new so not many people are running it. We need a gm-trucks.com guenie pig!!!!!

Hey tbryne one question for you, I it may have been asked before, but HOW THE HELL do you change your plugs....looks awful tight in there????

They really aren't to bad. I passenger's side can be done in 5-10 minutes and maybe about 20-30 tops for the driver's side. I don't spend much time at the gym so I can get my arms in there pretty easy

Nice numbers, Tom!! You got about 100 ponies and 100 ft/lbs on me, will have to compare numbers when I get the KB in the spring. :D

Oh, I'll get it, but the car hasn't even been assembled yet and CMNT is blueprinting a nice little 427 stroker for it.

Money....easy come, easy go. :D

I figured this comes out to be about 520hp and 712ft-lb with a driveline loss of about 28%. This is how GM should send them out of the factory :)

It doesn't have Duramax mileage though. I usually see between 11-12 for a mix of city/highway driving and high 7s for all highway while towing an enclosed trailer.
