instrument lights and brake lights stopped working.

So the other night I went to leave the house and and realized that my instrument lights on the dashboard were not working and brake lights were not working also. The third brake light works fine but the two tail light brake lights dont work. I checked the fuses and they were all good then I checked the wiring at the brake lights and they are not getting power. I also checked the wiring for the trailer lights and the same no power to just brake lights. Any ideas the truck is a 2000 GMC sierra 1500 Z71. Thanks

Did you check ALL the fuses (not just the ones related to those lights)?
