I should have posted yesterday, before I replaced my water pump! :D

Actually I felt the need to post because I've looked up lot's of different info here thats helped me out a great deal! :thumbs:

I have a 98 5.7 Vortec that was never loosing any fluid till the waterpump went. Did it ever go.... in the space of one day it just blew out @ 66K. Anyway I had no idea how the fan came off, last one I tried was on a 83. Origionally I took off the 4 bolts to the clutch first, not too bright. What saved me was remembering a post I had read here. :D I did have a bitch of a time with the idiotic spring clamps for the hoses. :) Anyway it didn't go too bad, considering I was outside at night. I had a generator with 2 bright floods to help. :P Thanks to thoes who give out valuable advice, you never know all who benefit. :D
