created brake recall issues

Has anyone else but me had any issues with how gm reprogrammed their brake control modular?

 

I have experienced a tight front end feeling. I feel like the brakes are somehow constricting the free flow of the vehicle.     My gas mileage has dropped about a half to a full mileage per gal.   The gas pedal feels firmer. Not as easy to regulate.    I personally don't like the way gm fixed the recall. They fixed it for gm not for us owners.   

 

The truck rolls fine and i'm sure there isn't any caliper sticking it's just that I don't like that the abs is now more in control of the truck.   This bothers me.   I can feel it driving.   

 

So am I the only one. I doubt it. The chevy service says they don't know nothing.  Anybody else?

I know some people may have had a hard brake pedal. Change your oil more.    Gm should've replaced the vacuum pumps as needed instead.  That my opinion.  Thanks

which is it?  Are the brakes sticking, and preventing the wheels from freely rotating or not?

 

Maybe get a heat gun and compare caliper temps side to side and front to back and see if they are or not.

I agree. GM has gone with a bandaid fix of the true problem. A weak vacuum pump installed at the factory that doesn't last. That's why the replacement pump has a different part number and design. They extended the warranty on the bad pumps but that won't help us that keep the miles down on our trucks. Mine isn't a daily driver so I will be eventually screwed even with the extended warranty.
