Ok .. I'm new to this forum and i have a question and I'm pretty sure it's been answered before but still gona ask.  I have a 99 Silverado with 5.3l 4l60e 4wd and I'm looking to swap to the 6.0l 4l60e 4wd is there anything else I need to do the swap other then the essentials .. any big things like cross members ect.. and will it be a easy drop in plug up and go..

Easy plug and play just need to program the ecm for the larger motor. Just make sure it is a Gen 3 6.0. A gen 4 6.0 wouldn't be plug and play.

Yes.

The 6.0 would bolt right up to your 4L60e transmission. If you go to the 4L80e, you may need to make the transmission control member work. Then figure out driveshaft length because I believe the 4L80e will sit further back. But double check that stuff.

Use the 6.0 wiring harness to make things simple for the 4L80e if that is what you do. The rest is getting a tune to make it all work. This type of swap is pretty popular.
