1500 AT4 to 2500HD need lift advice

I just got a 2019 Sierra AT4 in May then totaled it a couple weeks ago, December 16th! I had the 6.2 with Borla exhaust and I loved the truck. Factory lifted and leveled with exhaust upgrade and it would fly, had 35” tires and it would roast them unless it was in 4Hi! Until a woman ran a stop sign and that was all she wrote. Anyway I’m going to go with the 2020 Sierra 2500HD either Denali or the AT4 and would like to know what the best 3-5” lift kit would be. I’m also going to have a winch and bumper installed so that needs to be taken into consideration too. Also are the Amp electrical step boards the best ones available?

Sorry to hear of your loss but you will gain in the end. I recently went from a '15 6.2 midnight edition into my AT4 HD and it's a whole new world. Now I know what everyone was talking about with diesel. Anyway, as of now I believe Zone is the only lift out there. Most others are leveling kits up to 3in but even then, most dont offer upper A-arms other than RC but that's a whole kit. As for AMP steps, they were the originator, I'd go with those.  I had Bestops before but would've preferred AMPs.

You probably already know,  but a factory height HD has a higher overall height than a 1500 with the factory lift.

Although ground clearance is a little less on the HD.

The standard box HD is a quite a bit longer.

For 4wd crew standard box and facgtory lift on the 1500  -

1500  78.2 overall,  10.7 ground clearance,   241.3 length

2500  79.7 overall,  10.1 ground clearance,   250.1 length
