Otter423 Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 I bought this 95 Chevy and it ran fine all the way home soon as I got to my driveway I made one pass up the driveway with the plow and when I went to pick up the plow the truck died as I got the plow up, went to start it back up and nothing, no juice, just a click, even when I try to jump start it it does the same exact thing, anyone have any ideas?
Otter423 Posted January 10, 2020 Author Posted January 10, 2020 Not sure, I tapped on it couple times and went to try it again and nothing changed, I have a alternator for it, you think that could possibly be it, I’m still confused why the truck just completely died out of nowhere though.
CamGTP Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 Sounds exactly like a wiring issue. Being that is has a plow means it has extra wiring somewhere that is getting power. Remove and clean all contacts for the battery and grounds. Inspect all the plow wiring to make sure it is clean and correct.
Otter423 Posted January 10, 2020 Author Posted January 10, 2020 Ok will do, I’ll try that in the morning and see what I can do, I was wondering if maybe something was grounding out with a wire since it just died all of sudden and was running and starting perfectly normal
