Rear axle shaft seal removal question

I recently removed the rear bearings & wheel seals. In the process of removing the bearing I was hammering the inboard seal which the axle shaft rides on. I had little room to hammer out the bearing bc it was sitting next to this seal. I assume this inner seal that the axle shaft seal is not supposed to be removed? It wouldnt move when hammered on. I could be wrong. 

 

My concern is that this I damaged this seal. I have no clue where to order a new one.

 

I called the local autozone and they said all they had was outer wheel seals. I figured that's all there was. Apparently not on a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 2w drive.

I removed it but no where around seems to have this inner seal?

That is the wheel speed sensor exciter ring not a seal.

I just discovered that it was a speed sensor yesterday. I ordered new ones and reinstalled them. Hopefully everything works as it should.
