Vibration at 40

This might belong in the Light Duty, but since mine is a 1500HD I might as well post it here.

My problem is I'm having a bad vibration at 40 MPH. If I put my factory tires on the truck, it's still right at 40. But not as sever.

Has anyone else experienced a vibration at a set speed like that? The dealer calls it "normal" and that it doesn't vibrate any more than a truck of my size SHOULD vibrate.

It's got the two piece drive shaft btw.

Could be u-joints. Every time mine have gone bad, they would only vibrate at a specific speed. Different speeds for different trucks.

U-joints, out of balance drive shaft, bent axle, etc...

My 1500HD has a small vibration at 40mph. It is there in OD and 3rd gear. Also rotated the tires and that didn't help. It's not enough of a problem for me to take it to the dealer.
