WVU slaughters #3 Virginia Tech!

Just got home from the game and what a blast! I love an upset-especially when my team is administering the upset!

Always nice to beat VT, especially since they're leaving the Big East and they are (were) ranked #3 in the BCS!

The win is mainly a matter of pride for WV but it will just about ruin VT's chance at a title bid.

Anybody watch the game on TV?? I just saw the film of Frank Beamer slapping one of his players. What's up with that? Looked like the whole Hokie team came unglued when they got a few TDs behind.

Hell yeah! I only got to watch about 15-20 minutes of it (on and off) while at work. But, I just got home and I'm watching the re-air on ESPN. I just wish they could have held off Miami a couple weeks ago.

I watched it last night!! That is the way they could or should or whatever have played all season, and they could have been doing pretty good right now.

Nothing unusual about that. I went to school here at WVU and lived in or near Morgantown all my life. This happens every time WVU wins a big game at home-mostly just students having a good time and the press blows it out of proportion, especially ESPN. It happens at other schools too but you never seem to hear about it.

Some of the news services gave more attention to the partying after the game than they did the game itself! Again-it's because alot of folks can't stand to anything from WV getting some respect.

I'm glad to see WVU stick it to the hokies. VT will get dropped like a bag of rocks from the top 25 poll but if it was Miami or OK losing they would bump them a spot or two. Those d**n reports have the number one's picked long before the season. strength of schedule my ass, playoffs would settle everything. Down with the BCS
