I don't think it's the right way to go about this. It's not Nissan's, BFGoodrich', or anybody elses fault for Frances escapades other than the French Government.

The only people we're hurting in this boycott is the french average joes (or in this case, the average sigfreid).

If you really want to boycott France, then do what I do, just don't go to the f*cking place.

Exactly General. When we went to war with Iraq, the only ones calling the shots were in the gov't. Companies did not.

I totally agree with General. How many times do you agree with what the politicians in this country do? Does that mean you boycott all the companies in this country or boycott all the companies in a particular state.

The companies are not the ones who make foreign policy they are the unfortunate recipients of the over reacting public.

Now so you know, I'm a disabled veteran that served my country proud and would do it again if I could. I now support my fellow brothers and sisters in the military and pray that those who are to ignorant to see the bigger picture will one day figure it out.

Let's not forget that what's really happening here, is that most of these companies have minority stockholders that are french. I can almost guarentee you that Universal studios, is not owned entirely by the french. or have a french company as the majority owner.

BTW....IMHO....if the dumbasses that make websites like these took the time and money they spent on them and put them towards something more useful, like donating blood, or being more informed and not believing everything you see on tv, our country would be a better place.....No flaming please, I am 100% pro USA, I support our troops, and I think the French are turds, But I think that we just make our self look stupid when our congress votes to call french fries freedom fries....if they put that much work, into real legistlation, maybe we'd be a little more better off.

BTW again any a-hole that thinks french fries have anything to do with france, needs to calm the F*** DOWN

I'm not I don't recognize myself as just from this country, I'm from this world, and by acting childish and boycotting products you are hurting people that work for a living, not the government

The French government won't be affected at all by any boycotts, but the people working the factorys trying to bring home enough money to feed their family that is who will feel the sting..

Does it make you feel good that by boycotting products you are putting people out of work and starving people to death..

If you would open you eyes you would see that the french people don't have anything against you, and if you ever watched the current season of the Real World you would know that none of the American cast members was treated any different or was hated by the french citizens and half of the show was taped after the war started.

Its nice that you feel so strongly on this issue but do your research before going ont facts you don't understand completely.

What youfail to realis, BP, is that this boycott will notonly hurt thefrench, but the countless numbre of AMerican employees that will be hurting when they get laid off.

Like I said anyways, the best way to hurt the French Gov't is in tourism.

And if you get you world view from the real world than you need to grow the heck up. If the real world is the "real world" than just frigging shot me now and get it over with because I do not want to live in a world like that.

This crap with france has not started with Iraq they have been sucky pieces of crap for a long time and if I get one person to boycot thier crap than I have done a good job in my own eyes. I love America and have and would put my life up for her. But the more I see I am not sure if the American people are even worth it.

I am not sorry if I offend anybody, and if you are offended than GREAT!! Scew it ban me from this site I do not care. But when people forget or do not bother to see how evil and self centered the french are than heck with it.

If not wanting thousands if not millions of my American Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, & Brothers to go starving, or homeless because some people want to protest the French Gov't by punishing parties that had NOTHING to do with the Frenchh Gov't is Un-patriotic, then g*ddamn, I guess I'm the next Osama binLaden!
