Illuminated Bowtie

Does it not come with one? All of the other kits I know about also come with the wiring harness, zip ties, and instructions...

My truck is a late model 18. But the harness is the 8 pin that's in the 19s. If you go to the dealer and put my vin number in it says that the accessory is not available for my vehicle. If you back the vin number out it says the 2018 accessory fits. Needless to say I picked up the 2018 bowtie but need a 2019 harness.

I just did this to my '18, last weekend.  My kit came with a Y-harness that jumpers the harness for the LT headlight (8-pin) to the bow tie, should have another connector for after you install the bow tie onto your grill.  BE CAREFUL when putting the bow tie wires into the connector, they are a royal PITA to make correct.

I'm going to be tearing my front end apart (again) on Sunday, to correct a couple things.  I'll post my install process writeup/pictures on Sunday Night.

Okay, almost a month later, and I finally got around to rerouting my bow tie harness.  I'll attach my pictures when I get home tonight.

Originally drilled the 3/8" hole dead-center, but had to work it down/left to line it up correctly.

Original path that I ran the harness:

Zip tied the two wires to the "struts" just left of center:

Rerouted the harness thru top of left headlight assembly and across the top of the grill:

Now, I can easily disconnect the illuminated bow tie before removing the grill, next time:
