Did you ever fix this? I am having the exact same issue with my 2018 5.3 Silverado.

I am having the same issue as well in a 5.3 silverado. OP stated a few posts above that he found multiple vacuum leaks causing the issue. about to go check the same on my and will update if I find anything.

has anyone found out the definite issue? I have having the same shudder in my 2014 Silverado after having the high pressure fuel pump and injectors replaced a month ago. I did notice that when I looked at the timing, it was being retarded to sometimes as far back as -5deg and it is happening during the shudder. I also have -9 and -13 LTFT's going on as well. my torque converter was replaced 2200 miles ago and my truck now has 160000 miles. I replaced the plugs and wires as well but did not help. was looking at replacing my coil packs considering they are original to the truck. I was thinking maybe a faulty knock sensor considering how these new ones do more than just listen for a knock from what I am told. I had just found this thread and didn't see any updates on a root cause and wanted to see if anyone had made headway with this issue.
