Multiple CD Changer

I have a 03' 1500HD I currently don't have any aux units ie xm, multiple cd changer or onstar. Can I add a cd changer to the stock radio (RDS cd and tape) aftermarket or a factory one using the aux inputs on the back of the radio?

You can add a CD changer to just about any system. Just look for a universal unit that uses FM modulator. They work though your antenna and work great!

I have a Pioneer 6 Disk which I'm getting ready to install in our new van.

I know that for 95-02 stereos you could get an adaptor that made certain changers work with the aux. controls on the stock stereo. Not sure if this is available for 03-04 yet but it might be. I think PAC makes the modules.

Soundgate makes a PIOGM1 unit that will work with Pioneer 6 or 12 disc CD Changer. That will plug in to the AUX port on the back of radio, and you can use the steering wheel controls to control it. I am wating for my PIOGM1 so I can control my Pioneer XM Radio with my steering wheel controles just like a factory unit. Not sure if this information will help you or not.
