A buddy of my has a dodge caravan, when his wife drove through a puddle the belt popped off. The service dept. told them that water probably got under the belt and popped it off. They say that they have a $260 part that may fix it. What do any of you think? :dunno::mad::thumbs:

I'd say the tensioner should be replaced. There is a part update. They get stuck in one spot and don't :thumbs: pivot anymore. The cheap solution is to spray/work some lube in the pivot and put a new belt on.
