Passenger Seat Recline Issues

Hi all!  New member here....did some searching on this topic, but didn't have any luck. I would appreciate any and all insight!

 

Truck in question is a 2015 Chevy 2500HD Z71.  

 

Some kids were messing around in the front passenger seat and messed up something with the seat recline handle. The seat is stuck all the way leaned back. When I pull the handle to try to adjust the angle, I can feel the right side releasing to allow the seat to move--but the left side feels stuck (or broke?). 

 

Any tips or tricks to fix this? Is there a place that sells the internal pieces to the seat if something is broken? I tried looking on Rockauto and didn't find much. Trying to avoid the dealership if at all possible.

Those parts are likely GM only.  You might check out online gm parts sites for slightly cheaper pricing.  They will show the parts breakdown of the seat.  You may want to subscribe to the full-service manual at a site like alldatadiy.com to help with properly disassembling/reassembling the seat and figuring out exactly what is wrong.
