Envoy Pricing Insane!!

My inlaws just ordered a new envoy and the sticker price was $44,000. I told them they could get a full size Tahoe for that!! But they wanted all that high tech crap that they will never use. Oh well, not my money! Just my .02!

Our Yukon, totally loaded with every option, listed for 46K and change. We paid around 35K, though, after haggling and rebates.

i think you can get them now with a 5.3L. some people dont like large SUV's. 44k is about 10k more than it would be worth to me

The envoy they order was the XL model with the 5.3, locker, DVD, Leather and every other option you can get. Way too much for a mid-size SUV!!

That is the same Envoy XL we are talking about getting. Can't see spending that much for a smaller SUV is my hang up though. More $$$ than my loaded 2500HD SLT! I want to spend less on a larger Yukon but the wife wants the smaller SUV! We'll see!

Not in this lifetime, at least for me. Would be sport'n a nice Yukon or equivalent, but not an Envoy. Not that they are bad vehicles, just not for that price. Oh well, at least it's a Chevy. Enjoy the new ride.

No, that is not with the XUV option. It has every other option though. I didn't believe them until they showed me the sticker and paperwork. Trust me I wanted to say something real bad, but being the inlaws, I just congratulated them on there new purchase and walked away. Very hard to not tell them how bad they were gettin it!!

I mentioned the price on a new tahoe before they orded the envoy, but they didn't want to hear it.

Actually if there is still a chance they can cancel the order, you may look like a hero if you politely enlighten them to the ape rape'n their gett'n. But then again, I guess value is all in the eye of the beholder. I will obviously value some things more than others, just man, I hate to see it when they go to trade or sell the thing.

They didn't get too bad, they get some suppliers discount which knocked off 4K plus rebates, but still I am still in shock over the sticker price. BLOWS MY MIND anyone would consider paying that much!

I hope they enjoy it. My Envoy is being bought back by GM. Total piece of crap. I should have bought the Tahoe/Yukon to begin with.
