2020 Sierra AC outlet, open ground

Just brought home a 2020 Sierra SLE, it has 2 AC outlets, one in the dash, and one in the bed.

The one in the dash shows an open ground, the one in the bed shows as correct with a receptacle tester.

 

Anyone else here crazy enough to test that, and what were your results?

Did you have the switch for the receptacle in the dash ON?  That plug is not powered until you push the rocker switch...should ground the plug then.

Yes, it was on and powered up, the tester used supplied power to function and test.
