Yes but it's not that simple.

 

The 4L80e has many differences that you have to account for.

 

Such as:

It's longer, so transmission cross member needs modification to work.

Transmission cooler lines need to be routed different.

Different torque converter is needed.

4L80 flex plate can be bought or you can get a 4L80e converter with a 4L60e bolt pattern.

Electrical connector needs modification to work on a 4L60e harness.

Computer must be tuned for this change.

Drive shaft will need to be modified or just get a new one built. New u-joints etc etc.

 

That's the major stuff.
