2" all around lift desired. Pics of various lift heights?

I have the stock 2016 Sierra Z71.  I like the factory rake and have been considering all-around 2" lift.  You know, a small lift noticeable maybe but also not really noticeable.  That's what I'm going for.  Everything nowadays that I research is all about leveling, which I do not want to do.

So my question is 2 parts-

1a. What's a good kit I could get to do this, and is there a preferred way over another?

1b. What would a garage charge, ballpark, to do this?

2. Are there any resources out there that show a truck with various lift heights for comparative purposes? (2", 3", 4" etc). Google hasn't really given me this in my searches.  Again, lots of leveling before & afters.

Thanks,

Generic 2 inch under strut spacers can be had for 20-30 bucks on eBay, then find a 2 inch taller block. Garage would probably charge 3ish hours labor plus the cost of an alignment.

Thanks tyler.

I had a 2 inch generic eBay leveling kit that came with new bolts and all for 25 bucks. Ran that for 50k miles no issues. I would suggest not going over 2 inches in the front unless you do a proper lift, or aftermarket coil over and upper control arm combo.

2 inch level up front, stock rear larger than stock 275/60/20 (~33 inch) tires (aired down to 10 psi in this pic lol)

Same 2 inch level up front stock rear. 20x10 -19 wheels on 305/50/20 (~32) tires

Dirt king uniball upper control arms, King 2.5 coil overs with resis, 3 turns of preload (roughly 2.5 inches of lift over stock) 17x9 -12 wheels with 285/70/17 (~33) tires. Stock height rear with 2.5 king piggy hose shocks with extended travel.

I know this isn’t exactly what you asked for but it’s a few setups you can reference.

Much appreciated.  I don't go to the dunes or do much off-roading (I ride with buddies in their trucks for that stuff (here's $20 for gas and then they get all the maintenance :) ).  Mine is for work and fishing and lots of winter driving so I don't need much.  Just a little height.

I’d go with something like this for the rear

MotoFab Lifts CH-2R 2 in Rear Leveling lift kit that is compatible with Chevy Silverado Sierra GMC 2007-2018 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017WO24D2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_bp7MEb67VBQ65

And this for the front

Maxracing 2" Leveling Lift Kit Compatible with 2007-2020 Chevrolet Avalanche Silverado Suburban 1500 Tahoe GMC Sierra Yukon XL1500 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MFY2C8J/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_or7MEbWG7GQS2.

You’re less than 100 bucks in parts. And I’m sure if you’re mechanically inclined enough to do a brake job you can have it all installed in an after noon with basic hand tools a jack and some jack stands. Then go pay 75 bucks for an alignment. Under 200 dollars said and done. Shouldn’t have an issue running 33s on stock wheels when it’s time for new tires.

Great I appreciate the links.  Would the stock tires look silly w/ only a 2" lift?  I was hoping for a little height without making it look like a shopping cart.  I am new at this which by my questions I'm sure you can tell.

Me personally, I would think the 2 inch blocks in the rear might look silly with stock tires. If you surely want to lift the rear I think a 1 inch taller block would look fine with a 2 inch level up front.

But it’s your truck, what I think is hideous could be your jam. Check out pictures people have posted in the amazon reviews. But my best advice would be to stay away from the 2.5 and 3 inch front leveling kits unless you do aftermarket upper control arms at least. Custom offsets website has a searchable gallery of modified trucks as well.

Thanks again, this is the info I was hoping to find from those who are experienced, and w/o the judgment.

As long as you’re not doing this I’m all for it.

Lol, no, I don't want the pooping puppy squat.  I'd rather keep the stock rake so I'm slightly more level when trailering up.

You could always put on whatever height leveling kit you want for the front. Then use a floor jack with a well placed 4x4 under your hitch, jack up the rear till you like how it looks, measure it, then order your 1 or 2 or even 2.5 inch rear lift block.

Here’s what I did. I put bilstein 5100’s all the way around with the front on the highest setting. I also had a 1/4 spacer under the shock from a previous level kit that I left in. I then added 2” blocks out back. I”be not had any issues with running or travel issues with my set up. Granted she stays on the pavement 95% of the time. My tire size is 295/55R20. When locked, there is minimal running and it’s only on the sway bar. It was cheap, easy and can be done in your driveway. Best of all, it gave me the look I was after.
