I was driving down the freeway with cruise control set at 65 when all of a sudden my check engine light started flashing at me. My cruise control shut off and the truck flashed something at me on the HUD. It flashed so fast that I couldn’t read it. It said something about the parking break (which wasn’t engaged.) From that point on I couldn’t get my cruise control to turn back on. I was on my way to the repair shop for other cosmetic issues so I had them take a look at it. The said it went through an update and the front facing camera needed to be calibrated! It blow my mind that that would happen while I’m on the road.

I have a Tesla - and it's amazing GM cant come close to matching their ability to literally change the car via software update  - WITHOUT EVER TAKING IT TO THE SERVICE CENTER.

That said, at least the timing worked out in your favor.

I am having a similar issue (cruise control not working), How did you fix yours? (is it fixed now?); thanks!
