2017 Silverado U1510

HELP! 

I have a 2017 Silverado 5.3 4X4 Texas edition, a couple weeks ago I got a CEL for u1510, I let it go for a couple days and the truck started misfiring so I took it to the shop and found out my Cyl 4 lifter had collapsed, I got the lifter and camshaft replaced and it runs good now (3 weeks later) other than the U1510 (Symptom-00) code is still present. I don't know if they're related but I wanted some extra input on the situation before I set it back in the shop, any advice is welcome. I work in a shop but we mainly deal with suspension so this is out of my realm of expertise.

 

The only other symptom I have noticed is the remote start when I hit it, will flash the lights but wont start. Gonna hook it up to the solus again tomorrow to see if I can get any more info on it.

A better scan tool that GM uses and maybe that Solus will tell you more about the U1510 code. Typically that code will be followed by a letter/number to help figure out where the fault is. Like K9 or K20/K33 codes etc etc. Those will tell you where to look for the problem.

Also any check engine light disables remote start, that is normal.
