Knock sensor

94 GMC Sierra, C1500, 4.3L V6

I'm trying to replace the knock (detonation) sensor on the driver's side head but the plate that the 7/8" hex part is formed in just spins inside the housing.

Is there a special tool to use to remove this part?

Any suggestions?

  Didn't I read where if Gm does the valve body on the "Allison", you get a 10yr/150k warranty? Kinda wish mine has a minor blip around 24k. Get a free trans service, and a pile of warranty.
