Dash Cam Install on LT?

Has anyone hardwired a dash cam into their ON-Star/Dome lights on an LT, and would you mind walking through the process? I have found other videos about installing one on a Denali, but since I am not electrician, I would prefer following the exact model truck.

You can get a plug and play kit if you want instead. Works awesome on my last truck and this one.

I think the easiest/least invasive option is to just run the wires along the headliner over to the passenger side fuse box and use a fuse tap to get power. That's what I did for my Blackvue cam with power magic pro.

Worked for me also....pass.  side fuse box!                     GH
