Recently bought a 2020 Sierra SLT, about a week ago I started noticing a low rubbing sound coming from the lower back of the steering mechanism. I can describe the sound as basically rubber rubbing for lack of a better phrase. Took it to the dealership and was told it was nothing, I told the service worker what if it just needs some lubrication but again said it was “normal”.  it is annoying as hell when you turn slowly left or right hearing that.  Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Is it coming from the front drivers side wheel well? If so your prob hearing the front axle jingle... that’s the only thing I can think of.

Yep I had the same issue...tech said it was the rubber boot and they removed it and lubed it and then reinstalled and the noise went away completely!
