Dash lights

Hey guys been having some weird stuff go on with my dash display on my 03 GMC Sierra. Started off with my shift display becoming dimmer and dimmer until being impossible to read, then a month later the gauges would flicker all the way up and down when the truck would be in accessory and now the last few morning all the lights including: dash, shifter display, odometer, heater, and butt warmer lights, don’t light up, but come back to life after I get off work around 4. The heater can still be turned on and adjusted, there is just no display to read the temperature it is set to. What could be causing this problem?

There are multiple videos on you tube about this. GMC actually had a replacement plan for a while on this. Mostly you have cold solder joints in your dash gauge panel. This can be lights, and stepper motors that run the gauges. There are rebuilt units on Ebay, and if you do NOT mess with yours you can get $100 as a core.

The heater lights, same deal cold solder joints on the bulb circuit board.
